Position Brocade as the ultimate IT superhero while spotlighting Cisco’s shortcomings—without being overly technical or confrontational.
The Idea
Create a tongue-in-cheek comic book where Brocade is the caped hero and competitors are colorful villains, each representing their tech flaws. A classic good-vs-evil showdown with a modern twist, using humor and exaggerated personas to highlight Brocade’s superior solutions.
My Role
I led the creative charge, working closely with illustrators and writers to develop the characters, write the story arc, and nail that nostalgic comic book aesthetic. All while keeping it fresh and relevant to IT pros.
The Outcome
An engaging, entertaining comic that made complex tech positioning feel fun and memorable...educating the audience while giving Brocade a larger-than-life edge over the competition.
